Pros: 100% No-kill rescue and they love pitbulls =)
Cons: Need more space to help and save more animals
Bobbi & the Strays is 100% no-kill and their mission is to save as many homeless animals as possible. They do a great job and no email goes unanswered. They try and place the right animal with the right family and vice-versa. They have an application process along with a phone interview and a meeting with the people and the pet. If the people have another petm they are encouraged to have them meet at the rescue or the trainer to make sure the pets get along. There is also a home check done and the pets can also meet there if the people cannot bring thier pet (i.e. a dog that doesn't travel well or an indoor only (they should all be!) kitty. I hope they can win this contest to get a bigger and better shelter so that they can save more.
