I had the good fortune of adopting my 2 small dogs fromt this shelter in Jan '08. They both had kennel cough which is very common in shelters. I got a free office visit at a very good participating vet.
I love my 2 boys. I just lost a cat today to renal failure and when I am ready I will probably go back to adopt an adult cat. I will never, ever buy a dog/cat/bird from a pet store-ever. Too many pets in shelters have to be euthanized every day...Please, adopt, don't buy.
