Three years ago I had the opportunity to visit the Bide A Wee in NYC and in Westhampton. What a pleasant and enjoyable visit. This is a no-kill shelter that has been around for over a century.
Even though we were not there to adopt, the staff spen a lot of time with us showing the facility and talking about their procedures. We were able to share ideas about our shelters.
These facilities are very clean and bright. I highly recommend paying a visit here and donating to keep them going!
