I've always thought the concept of a no kill shelter is great, however, I worry about how a dog or cat could be suffering being kenneled so long. If one of these animals is seen to be suffering mentally, is there a volunteer or staff member at this shelter that then takes the dog into foster care? This is not anything demeaning to this shelter as we are all concentrating on one thing, and that is finding these precious orphans, new homes.
