Hi my name is Dawn,
I adopted my puppy 21/2 years ago from the Animal Adoption Center. I can't say enough good things about the shelter and the staff! they were caring,kind,courteous.The shelter was spotless no horrible odors,The animals were clean,well fed,had water.The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about all of the animals.After we made our choice They talked to us to make sure it was the right choice. they made calls to our friends and family,to our vet,Even checked to see if we had a yard. Even after all their checks they had my husband bring his dog to make sure they would get along. Everything went TERRIFIC! We adopted a new member to our family! Now the problem with the shelter.They may have to close! this is so sad.They really need funding and fast! They are a No-Kill shelter!Unlike all of the other shelters. This place needs everyone's help!
These animals have it great at this shelter they are treated like they are one of the family. A place like this should not have to worry about finances! that's how well everything is taken care of. But unfortuantely they have this horrible worry on their hands. Please every little bit helps.
Lets all ban together to keep this wonderful home until the animals find a new home open for many many more years to come. Thank-you for reading.
