Cons: both shelters need an addition to handle large volumes of animals
The most important gift that St. Hubert's gives to the community is knowledge. Their facility runs numerous programs and seminars on everything from basic training for dog owners to seminars on current issues for those who work in the shelter industry. However, the dispersement of information does not end there! Any animal related question can be fielded to the staff at either shelter. Even if they do not know the answer, they will direct you to someone who does. St. Huberts believes in the philosophy of educating the public in order to better the lives of humans and their furry companions. Anyone who has adopted an animal from either facility knows that first hand, as their adoption sessions are informative and packed with helpful handouts. St. Hubert's truly leads the pack on supplying the community with animal-related knowledge!
