I thought I would be sad walking into an animal shelter for the first time. Boy, was I surprised!

I left there with a huge smile on my face after I saw all of the volunteers working with the animals and the dedicated staff.

I invite you to visit to see for yourself firsthand that getting involved with the Liberty Humane Society will make you feel that you can make a difference in your community.

Spread the word that they need money to continue to enhance on their programs and to continue to improve the facilities. The more money they have, the more they can do.

Thanks to other zootoo members, it has been brought to my attention that I rated Liberty Humane Society as a "1" thinking this was the highest score, not realizing that "5" is the highest! Boy, what a mistake! I have phoned customer service at Zootoo to change that.

Though the facilities at Liberty Humane Society need a much needed makeover, the love and care and attention that is given to each of the animals on a daily basis is what is behind my "5" rating!

Made an error when giving a number rating - thinking that #1 was the best. Am trying to have it changed via Zootoo. Just want to clarify that my rating is a "5" which is the highest rating.
