Cons: Small facility
I work with an impound facility as a volunteer in rural Virginia. Frequently, we are able to take puppies to New Jersey to find them homes with other rescues in the area. Our coordinator volunteered for several years at Liberty and wanted me to visit, to get a different perspective on shelters. I was impressed with the introspective detailed notes written on the cage cards of the dogs who were available, and came away feeling good about what the folks at Liberty are doing.

Thanks Barbe! Hopefully you will be able to visit us again soon. We have made many changes at Liberty Humane Society - with new walls, greeting area, bathrooms, office trailers, cat room, etc.
We still could really use a million dollar makeover, but we make do with what we have - lots of love for our animals!
