Pros: Best shelter around!

Cons: None - by far superior to the other shelters I visited

We had visited a few shelters before coming to New Fairfield. It was an experience, none as clean and welcoming. We ahd seen a picture of Aurora... now Haley.. and we went to check her out.. we quickly fell in love with her and put in our application. Two days later my son and I went to pick her up and bring her home.

She was incredibly shy .. afraid of noises, movements.. to the point where she trembled... but after lots of one on one time her personality began to emerge.. her fear of 'things' has really gotten better... she has since adjusted fully to her new home... and she is by far an outstanding dog.

Working with the shelter was nothing short of wonderful. They wanted to make sure the dog was a good fit.. and my wife and I wanted to make sure that the dog would blend in with us and our 7 year old son. We couldn't have found a nicer dog anywhere!!!
