Pros: Knowledgeable owner, clean, respectful, safe for all animals.
Cons: Small
I know this much to be true, if it was not for this shelter, these animals would never survive.
The staff gives care beyond measure, and immense love. Making sure these animals are looked after and respected the way animals should be.
They make sure these animals are adopted to wonderful families, by screening them with great care.
The only con is it's size and giving them a make over, would be what any humane person would do given the money to donate. This shelter needs this makeover, especially now in these times of hardship.
These animals deserve this shelter makeover and the helpers deserve the care and thanks from our towns.

I don't know who you are, but you describe the shelter very well. When I first came to volunteer, I was so impressed with the people involved and the way things were done. I made a call to a friend who was looking to volunteer, telling him how the dogs and cats were taken care of,medical needs,how clean the place was, the play yard, and how the pets were matched up with really good homes. I have visited quit a few shelters, I have never been more impressed. We are fortunate to have a group like this in our area.
