The New Fairfield/Sherman Animal Shelter is a non profit organization. Founded in 1979, we have provided refuge for thousands of needy dogs and cats. Our mission is to provide quality adoptions, spay-neutering, and education programs to benefit the people and animals of our community. We are dedicated to finding the best possible homes for our pets. The adoption donation for dogs includes distemper and rabies vaccines, heartworm test, deworming, and spay/neuter surgery. Cat adoptions include feline leukemia/FIV test, distemper and rabies vaccines, deworming, and spay/neuter surgery. Contact us to find your new best friend!
