Pros: Great staff, wonderful selection of pets, good location
Cons: Hours
DAWS is a fantastic no kill shelter in the Danbury, CT area. They have a fairly large facility and hence a large selection of dogs and cats at any given time. The staff is very concerned about placing the right dog or cat in the right home. They aren't just "giving animals away." The animals get advanced care like surgery and medication in their hospital facility on the second floor. DAWS is an all around great place to get your next family pet.
