Since working at this shelter, I am amazed at how our volunteers genuinely care about all our animals. The time and love they give is amazing and I am proud to be a part of it and make a difference with these people and help find these animals loving forever homes!

This shelter is truly filled with the most loving and caring people that truly love every animal that comes into that shelter. They treat them as there own! Thank you DAWS - Keep doing what you are doing!

I have been a volunteer for over 8 months and I am amazed at home much each volunteer loves this animals and puts them first! I applaud DAWS and am proud to work with such a great group of people.

I too have witnessed the devotion and care of the volunteers. God sends angels where they are needed.

I agree about the limited space, if nothing else, we need to expand or find a way to cut down on the animals that ultimately need our services.

Volunteers are vital to any organizations, but especially to DAWS. These are some of the most dedicated and caring people out there.

There is nothing better in life than to "give back". Your work with the shelter is such an inspiration - they could sure use the space, but what they have is truly filled with "heart".

Our daughter has been a volunteer for some time now and as a result, know how caring and supportive this shelter is. Makes us proud as parents, to see how passionate she is about those less fortunate. We began our adopting, using DAWS, many many years ago - and she continues to adopt, love and care for her pets. As busy as she is, in her personal and work endeavors, she still finds the time.
