when we went looking for a dog and found our Inca she was a great dog, very fun and outgoing. However, after we picked her up we found that she had issues with my husband even though she had met him. We called DAWS and had a person on the phone within an hour then the next day (a sunday) a wonderful volunteer came and spent the day with us working with the Inca. She had thought that she would have to bring her back to the shelter but we wanted to try to make it work and with the volunteer's patience and ours and especially my husband's we have had a wonderful pet for the last four year and hope to have her as part of our family for many years to come.
