Review Details

I find that Bonnie Jean and her team are well trained. She is hands-on and does not take any horse poop from any one. The safty of all animals and any one on the farm is paramount. Teaching some one how to relate to the animals in her care with courtesy and dignity and respect is one of the hallmarks of the Tara Farm. They will take in a any that have a need to be there. Horses, cows, cats, dogs, ferrets, chickens, ducks, you name it. I do not think she has ever turned any away. I saw a pot belly pig there once. I know she has gone without basic items when times are tight so the animals in her care will have what they need. When you can watch a sick horse, who can not even stand up, respond to her voice, they know she will not hurt them. And in a few weeks, to see the horse running and playing in the field is truly a miracle.
