I recently adopted 2 kittens from the WW Animal Shelter and it was a great experience. The 2 ACO who work there are so sweet and very knowledgeable. They made the adoption process very simple and we got our cats the very next day. They definitely put a lot of time into deciding whether people are a good match for their animals. One of the kittens we ended up adopting was found at a day old and was bottle fed by one of the officers. When we brought him home she seemed like she was genuinely sad to see him go, but was happy he had found a good home.
The shelter is very small and can only house very few animals for our whole town. There are many more animals in West Warwick and the surrounding areas that could be helped if this shelter was bigger. Even though they are small and rely a lot on donations, this is still an amazing shelter and I loved every minute I spent there and love the cats that I adopted so much!
