Awesome Animal Shelter!

The West Wariwick Animal Shelter is one of the best Shelters in Rhode Island, in my opinion. Though the Shelter is small and only has room for a limited number of animals, it is very well kept, clean and the animals look comfortable and get a lot of exercise. The two Animal Control officers are very caring and knowledgeable and are the two perfect people for the job, because they care! The West Warwick Shelter does their best to adopt out as many animals as possible and to limit the number of animals euthanized. They screen applicants and make sure the animals in their care go to wonderful and loving homes...homes that will continue caring for the animals once they've left the Shelter. Each animal has a name card with the animal's info, which is very helpful when finding the right pet for a particular family.

I could say some many wonderful things about this Shelter....I could write a novel.....

The Shelter also has wonderful volunteers that come in to help with everything from cleaning to giving the animals attention and taking the dogs out for walks....

The West Warwick Animal Shelter has come so far from what it's past reputation was...with the new ACOs, the way they care for the animals, what a diffence! It's a wonderful Shelter to visit and to adopt from!!!
