WOW...we were so impressed with the staff and pets at the shelter.
SO they are small and old... but clean, clean, clean.
The staff know ALL the pets by name...there were no poops in the pets ANYWHERE to be seen. The pets were happy and well adjusted.
They each had their OWN beds...lots of toys...there were volunteers smooching on the animals everywhere. The cat room was immaculate and DIDN"T EVEN SMELL.
My wife is seriously allergic to cats and we didn't even realize we were in the cat room... there was no smell...
we just missed adopting the pet of our dreams as she was walking out of the office as we were walking in but I understand that some families have to visit a few times before finding the perfect pet.
High 5 and paw to the staff and volunteers. They've worked hard and deserve it.
