Review Details

All of the people that I have met there have been very caring and kind. The animals are treated very well and they adopt out alot very quickly. I think the shelter coordinator has done a wonderful job with limited funding and resources.

This guy is really picky about who handles his dogs and where they stay. Thumbs up to Calhoun County for leaving a big impression

My name is Brenda Wood, I volunteered for Second Chance Animals long before they had a place to call there own... Our pets were fostered here there and everywhere. After many year the shelter struggled for foster homes,
they have managed to grow over the past several years..with an outstanding record I might add...Sheryl,Diane and Lisa W. you have shown what the TRUE meaning of the word RESCUEi is!
Most don't know what goes behind the scenes of a NO KILL shelter like Sencond Chance, I do,I've witnessed many
FOREVER adoptions...If you are looking for a place that goes the EXTRA mile..Choose Second Chance as the first place , to find that pet that is considered by others as a throw away...I have ma
ny times.....
oh!what joy it brings...Please don't let me end without putting a *star on Joe for a job always well done... Money
isn't what
Second Chance is about, to me it's about finding that FOREVER home for a pet in need... These are ALL volunteers with wings of an angel.....If your not ready to adopt and live in the area, VOLUNTEER it does the HEART good...

Second Chance has yet again been very helpful for me Thanks Diane for the help in placing the kittens I had that were abandoned. And for all the helpful information.
