We adopted Chelsea nearly 4 years ago from SCAS. and have highly recommended them to anyone we know who is looking for a new pet. Since then, my friend adopted 2 sibling kittens, and my mom adopted a 6 month old puppy. They put a lot of care into evaluating each animal as to what type of home they would be best suited for.
I would love to volunteer, but it would break my heart to be around all those innocent dogs and cats that are yearning for a home and to be loved, so the next best thing I can do is to make monetary and food donations thru-out the year.
