This Shelter has made my position as ACO so much easier because there was a loving shelter to bring the abandoned animals to. I have followed each animal that I have released to Second Chance Animal Shelter and have found each Adoptive home to be a responsible one. Also, the web site makes it easy to follow the adoption of a pet. The Director obviously makes every effort possible to insure the safety and well being of all animals plus the continued effort to make improvements whenever the opportunity arises.
Second Chance Animal Shelter is my pick as the BEST.

I've always wanted to be an animal control officer. But, I feared that I would want all the animals to come home with me. But, I agree...knowing that there is a place out there like Second Chance...sure must make you feel good...because by you bringing them there you are giving them a new and better life.
