Newberg Police & Animal Control

they are caring people who volenteer there and Darleen is wonderful at her job. they really need help to build a new animal shelter. ive lived across the street from there for years. help them!!

Pros: everyone there cares for the animals

Cons: its small, and wasnt meant to be a permanent structure

Newberg really needs help with their stray animal problem. The people in this town need education and a little bit of a change in values--I know, I lived there for awhile. Portland's progressive attitude about animals can spread. This shelter tries really hard to place animals and uses resources such as the local pet store. Unfortunately, they have almost no screening and education in place. Hopefully someone will step up to help with this someday soon.
