Homeward Bound Pets

Our non-profit No-Kill shelter houses and cares for dogs and cats until they find their forever home. We are a completely volunteer organization operating in what was a boarding kennel 50 years ago. Our office was a garage, one cattery was the residence, a second cattery was a rabbit hutch/chicken coop and the kennels had no outdoor runs. Our capacity is 18 dogs and 60 cats, all of which would be much better off if we could house them in buildings that had insulation, hot water and plumbing, and better heating/cooling. The cats are free-roam and quite happy, but need a healthier environment.
