Kootenai Humane Society

This is a great humane society. Everybody is so nice and cares about the wellbeing of all the animals. I love it.

Pros: Wonder people.

Kootenai Humane Society is a top-notch organization. The staff works so hard to ensure the best quality care for the animals at the shelter. A larger, updated facility is greatly needed to continue the excellent work KHS does for our community.

The addition of a full-time Animal Behaviorist has dramatically improved placement of animals into the right adoptive homes to fit the animal's & families needs.

Pros: Caring & Dedicated Staff & Volunteers

Cons: WE NEED A MAKEOVER! Need more room to care for animals (and staff).
