Just Visiting
posted 4 years ago
Before I went to SXSW, I contacted AHS to see if I could take pictures of their animals. My contact was very accomodating before, during & after my visit. The entire staff was very friendly & knowledgeable. It was nice to see that animals in need of love are pretty much the same in NJ & TX (Liberty Humane is my "home" shelter).
The facillities are exceptional & the staff seemed very helpful with prospective adopters.
If I am ever passing through the area, I will surely pay them another visit. It was a good thing our car was full or I may have been tempted to bring home Tinker :)
Pros: Beautiful facilities, friendly staff, cute animals
Cons: too far from NJ :(
