Houston Humane Society

this palace has been indergoing some changes in their facilities so all of the animals currently look abit squished. I did volenteer work here with the Houston Zoo . it was fun. i loved the dogs

Pros: variety of animal ages

Cons: crowded

in spite of being crowded at times they do a great job taking care of abandoned pets. their facility is clean and well kept as are the animal stalls. they show compassion and seem to care about what they are doing.

the HHS is doing a great job saving the abondoned and forgotten. they are busy everyday and count on volunteers and generous doners to keep going in providing a second chance for the many many pets they recieve. they also get the animals checked out and given shots to keep them healthy. they try to match up the right pet for prospective owners and make sure the pets and owners will have a good chance together.

Pros: everyone there is doing all they can to rescue animals in need

Cons: not enough space or people
