Warr Acres Animal Shelter

After losing our beloved dog, I went to this shelter to see their puppies they had listed online. I immediately fell in love with one of the puppies. The lady at the shelter held her for me while I ran up the street to the local 7-11 to get cash for my prize! I went back to pick her up and they gave me some samples and coupons to start our baby off right and gave me the information for the free spaying once our baby was old enough.
I always tell my friends that if they want a good place to adopt that is valued in price in service to go to this shelter. I got my puppy with her up to date shots as well as the certificate for spaying for less than $30!!! Cant beat that with a stick!!!
The only reason that this shelter looks run down is that it is located in the middle of an older community and all of our shelters are short staffed and all of them need help and donations!!!
You can help with donations by giving a loving adoptable animal a home - this shelter has an arrangement with a local vet for the free spaying or neutering of your pet once the pet is of age.
