Helpful local animal control

posted 7 years ago

This shelter has been very helpful with our local rescue group.Assisting with getting animals ready for transport to bigger rescues for adoption and saving animals lives through local adoption also.Their adoption prices are a little steep but I know its hard to cover costs of the care of all the animals. The shelter is very clean.

Pros: Willing to go the extra mile to rescue animals

Cons: no cat room

Thouights from a volunteer

posted 7 years ago

i have been to this shelter several times in conjunction with my volunteer work with pets without parents of mason and logan county. the workers are friendly and helpful, and demonstrate care compassion and concern for the animals. as we do, they try to find rescue groups and foster homes for adoptable animals. it is a lot of work, but very rewarding. these people are to be commended for their dedication and hard work.

Pros: hard working dedicated people

Cons: none i can think of
