Kindred Kitties Ltd. is a no-kill cat rescue founded in 1995 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. We operate an Adoption Center and also house many of our rescued animals in a number of foster homes. We are dedicated to finding permanent homes for our cats and kittens, and hold weekly adoption events at Petco in Kenosha, Wisconsin, Petsmart in Vernon Hills, Illinois, and Petco in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Our Adoption Center houses a significant number of adult cats that reside in a free-roaming environment.

When I first went to Kindred Kitties, I thought I wanted a female cat a few years old, declawed a must and dog-friendly. When I left Kindred Kitties, I had adopted a male "kitten" that wasn't quite a year old yet but close, and still has all his nails---(but he IS very dog friendly!!) I went in thinking I knew what I needed but after talking to the VERY knowledgeable staff, I ended up with the PERFECT cat for me. Everyone just LOVES him, he LOVES people and loves to kiss Shih Tzu's! He is the SPA's "homecat" whose job it is to greet grooming clients (and he LOVES his grooming sessions at the Spa which includes getting milkbaths and lounging around in a terry Spa-robe!). I couldn't have found a better cat and wouldn't have found him if it hadn't been for Kindred Kitties!!! Kindred Kitties does a wonderful job of caring for all the kittens & cats!
Pros: EXCELLENT place to find the perfect kitten or cat!!

A fabulous Cat shelter!!

These folks are wonderful. Our friend adopted a kitten through them and has always been very happy wiht her choice. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have a lovely storefront with so many cats living there, some in cages and some loose. They are well kept and cared for. They even help folks who want to be good responsible pet owner spay and neuter their pets and get shots at a cheaper price.
Pros: You have a lot of cats to choose from of all different types and ages
Cons: you have a LOT of cats to choose from!! LOL

They always treat the dogs and the people well. They detected that our dog had lyme disease (or something in his blood to indicate that) and gave him meds and he is much better now.
