I wish we had more places like this!!

We found three baby raccoons in the middle of the road last summer and we couldn't find anywhere that would take them and not destroy them. We finally came upon this place and they took excellent care of them. You can see how much the staff loves what they do and how well the animals are taken care of. I would reccomend this place to anyone.
Pros: They house a variety of different animals.
Cons: I haven't found one yet.

According to the papers the HSARofMC is required to file with the state of Michigan they have "KILLED" over 5700 dogs & cats from 2007-2009...doesn't sound like a "NO KILL" shelter to me. They fo… more ›

I think its cool that these dogs can be such a valuable resource to the local community. I know the officers love them and treat them well so i think its a great idea and service.
