Humane Society of the Ohio Valley

The HSOV is experiencing a rebirth of sorts, with the new board voted in late last year, our lovely new President (J.Snell), now a new shelter manager (S.Goff), and a new Executive Director. I'm the new volunteer coordinator and there are so many people wanting to help we're overwhelmed sometimes, but it's a GOOD thing.

Cons: facility needs renovation

The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley's rating just went up. Now that Sue Goff is managing it, it will be a cleaner, less harsh environment. She is working diligently to find the dogs and cats good homes. She has an expertise in this area having a multiple dog household herself. She has a true love for animals and it shows. And she's my mom ;)
