Cats are kept in a smelly garage attached to owner's double wide trailer. Small cages, no privacy for the animals. Owner does not advertise animals for adoption, though she is all over the Internet. She claims to place all of her animals by word of mouth, though this is hard to believe, considering the size of Hillsboro. Does not complete intake paperwork on animals, not interested in any medical or behavioral issues, likes/dislikes of the cat, etc. Made no effort to meet the cat, get to know him or what he likes Advertises herself as a non-profit, but the IRS only has info from tax year 2009 on file for this shelter. Wanda seems to think that ANY alternative to euthanasia, even a miserable existence in a smelly cage, is acceptable. In this case, I would have to disagree.
