Stark County Humane Society

I have been there a few times, my bosco came from there. They are nice friendly people who try to give you as much info as possible. The animals are well taken care of. It could use some improvements but what place cant, i think they do the best with what they have and have the animals best intrest at heart. My only complaint is when we adopted bosco they said he was 2 years of age and housebroken and the vet said he was only 10 months old at most and he definatley was not housebroken, but that might be at fault to whomever brought him in they can only know what they are told! So i would definatley adopt there again!

Cons: cant always take animals

When my first shepherd of dies of old age 4 years ago, I went to Stark County Humane Society several times to look at the dogs. Every one I talked to was very helpful and about my first dog passing away. On about my 3rd visit I finally decided on which dog needed me most and which dog was for me.

The staff here work hard to care for the animals and keep everything clean. This is a good place to get a dog.

Pros: no kill

Cons: need more space
