We have always have dogs and cats. All are spayed or neutered, microchipped and have had some vaccinations and treatments. We also have rabbits and occasionally other animals. We have a very active volunteer program. We rely on donations and fund raisers to keep our doors open.

Working-Growing-Making new friends
posted 4 years ago
This shelter is different, in that they are always looking for new options, opportunities and "thinking outside of the cage" as often as possible.
Their director is very aware of the needs surrounding their area, and works toward the goal of bringing rescues organizations to together, to work "as one". Realizing that there really is power in numbers. He is always in search of new opportunities, and that is a real benefit to the organization.
Pros: This shelter has a hard working staff.
Cons: Not enough room to grow.

Works well with others

Thanks for all the work you do for the animals in Delaware County. And thank you for inviting Cat Welfare Association to take part in your big spay and neuter clinic. It is nice when two great organizations can work together for the benefit of the animals. I wish you continued success!
Pros: good staff, good programs
Cons: none
