Bowling Green Warren County Humane Society

I started out volunteering at this shelter in March of 2009. I was very worried that it would be depressing walking through those doors but it was the opposite. The Adoption Center is very bright and cheery! You know that the animals are being taken care of and loved here. The older building could use a major face lift, but thats to be expected from a government funded building!

Pros: Everyone really cares about the animals and wants to help save them all!!

Cons: Not enough room and no reliable transport van!

I had lost my 7 year old Pugsley to a heart ailment a few weeks earlier and knew there was no way my own heart was going to mend without some assistance. I checked out the BGWCHS website and found Heck and stopped by to visit him and it was love at first sight. I am thankful for the BGWCHS and all they do!

Pros: Animals are well cared for...

Cons: I couldn't take them all home )o;
