Driving Directions
All volunteer staff working in a small but clean building. Able to house up to 24 dogs and 24 cats. Works closely with local animal control to save the lives of the lost, stray and homeless animals in the community. Makes HUGE efforts to offer low cost spay/neuter available to everyone in the County. Works closely with a variety of rescue organizations , other shelters, and potential adopters to find homes for the animals in our care. A very effective group of dedicated, compassionate volunteers.

The volunteers are very helpful and know the animals well. The animals all seem to be content in their surroundings. The volunteers make exceptional effort in keeping the animals healthy and happy. I would reccommend adopting from this center.
Pros: animals and kennels are very clean, animals are happy
Cons: needs more space in order to save more animals

Anderson Humane Society is the best. It saves lives, its clean, it works with a lot of rescues and gets lots of animals adopted out. It is great! And the president of the humane society, and all the volunteers up there do great work. And Sandy who made the website (www.andersonhumane.org) does a whole lot for the humane society.
Pros: Anderson Humane society does a lot!

I love the vets at The animal clinic. Even though I have one that I usually take my kitties to. But this is a very professional business, and very personal. I wouldn't have it any other way.
