Local shelter

posted 6 years ago

Upon visiting the shelter many times, it is always clean with no odor. The staff is courteous and encourages you to to take your time looking at the animals.

Forgot to mention earlier, this shelter charges in excess of $100 for a dog adoption. I think this is excessive since this is a shelter that euthanizes after a certain number of days.

Pros: clean

Cons: euthanasia

I go to this shelter frequently. The staff is friendly but doesn't appear to know to much about what to do with an injured animal (even minor). They don't clean wounds of any sort. They do have a nice variety of pets and are helpful when you make a suggestion.

Pros: Clean.. friendly staff.. variety of pets

Cons: animals not treated for injuries

Have visited the store several times to look at kittens. They usually have at least two or three or know if there are more coming in. They do not buy from breeders.
