ARK Animals are SPECIAL
posted 4 years ago
When an animal comes onboard The ARK it is a life saving moment for them…..this is a no kill shelter and if their new home does not work out then they can come back and try again. Animals staying at The ARK have shelter from the elements, good food, great love from all of the volunteers and a second chance. That is really all they want. Keep up the good work!
Pros: a no kill shelter

Great Shelter while waiting for a permanent home
posted 4 years ago
The Ark is a very clean shelter. The volunteers love the animals. The animals have very good accommodations while waiting for their permanent home. It is an all volunteer shelter with no paid employees and no federal, state, or local funding. All funds come from individuals. Volunteers are always needed to help clean, which is hard work, but very enjoyable because you receive the unconditional love of the animals.
It is a great no kill shelter to volunteer for because all the animals are well taken care of and receive the veterinary care necessary to be healthy pets.
Pros: No kill shelter, very clean & animals well taken care of
Cons: always need more volunteers
