Doing their best

posted 5 years ago

They are doing the best they can - there are too many dogs being brought in each day and not enough being adopted out. They do adoption events, volunteers walk and play with and train dogs there, and the adoption specialist always returns her phone calls. They are doing more than most of the shelters in the MB area!! If you have time - go and walk a few dogs and check around, maybe you'll find your new best friend.

Pros: low kill - does foster

Cons: not enough help

Needs some work

posted 7 years ago

I visit this shelter often and I must say that it has so much potential. I've encountered some really nice helpful workers but overall they are rude or indifferent.
The animals are well cared for, I believe and I do not doubt that there are some employees who really care. I just wish I met up with them more often then not.

Pros: they are a very low kill shelter

Cons: alot of the staff are rude
