Humane Society of Montgomery County

The Humane Society of Montgomery Co. is a great shelter!! It is a very "volunteer friendly" place. There is a great place to walk the dogs, and a place to sit while cuddling the cats! Also, I adopted my dog from here, so I definately think it is a special place!

We are a no-kill shelter whose staff finds loving homes for even the most neglected animals. We go the extra mile to find the right home -- not just any home. The shelter is always clean, well maintained, and most of all, the animals are so well loved and cared for, they don't have a care in the world!

Pros: Caring people who work hard for the animals

Cons: Never enough money to do for the animals what we would like
