Westmoreland County Animal Shelter

Westmoreland will always be very close to my heart since it's where I adopted my boy. Thanks to the efforts of the hardworking staff (just two of them, the last I checked) and volunteers, my dog got a second chance. With very few local adoptions, I can imagine it can be very frustrating work at times, but they go out of their way to save the dogs they can, regardless of the distance of the eventual rescue or home. Some truly, very good people.
