Friends of Homeless Animals

The "dog people" in our group have had good results working with FOHA. The dogs who went to them were placed in adoptive homes, & the organization was good to work with. Based on what I've heard from people that have dealt with them, this is a group we would like to keep working with.

Pros: Great resource for placing dogs

Cons: not close to our shelter

FOHA has been the rescue for many of our wonderful, easy to place dogs, who just couldn't find a family here in our area. FOHA took them in and within days, most were adopted. It is wonderful to know there is another resource to use for placement.

Pros: Have taken in several of our dogs

Cons: Distance, always in demand for placement
