Very good shelter

The Abington Branch of the Montgomery County SPCA is very good. We got our Flurry (rabbit), and they have a caring, knowledgeable staff. The facility is clean, spacious and well lit. It doesn't even smell like an animal shelter. We had great experiences with the old manager, and the new manager is good, too.
Pros: clean, knowledgeable, caring
Cons: the unwanted animals just keep coming in...
