I have to say nothing besides being with my family has been as rewarding as volunteering at LCR. Words cannot express the happiness you see in small and large animals alike when they are placed in their forever home! The updates we receive back are just heartwarming.

I can reccomend Last Chance ranch as a Volunteer and as someone who has adopted from the rescue. It is a wonderful place with volunteers that are commited to helping better the lives of all animals. Everyone treats the animals at LCR like they are their own pets. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, kind and just plain nice. Most of all- everyone is dedicated and very hard working. It is the most rewarding place I have ever volunteered. As for the dog I came home with- she is a 2 yr. old German Shepard- Sadie, she came in to the rescue looking like she had not eaten for 2 yrs. hair falling off, bleeding from flees- and worst of all she had no clue what affection or treats were. Now it's like we have always had her, she is healthy, fluffy, loves attention and treats- just a wonderful dog and she gets along with our other two dogs great! It's like she has always been a part of our family. Adopting from LCR was one of the best things my family has ever done! Everyone there was so helpful in helping us make the transition from 2-3 dogs and giving information. I highly reccommend this rescue!
