We adopted our cat from this wonderful rescue. They are located in Syracuse (mostly), all the kitties are in various foster-homes, because they do not run a shelter. This is an organization of all volunteers- awesome people! They are not in this for the money, they really watch out for what is best for the cats. The cats are not in cages, they have a play room of their own, or just live in the house. The volunteers really tell you the truth about each animal's health and temperament- they are VERY honest! If they think a cat is not right for you, they will tell you that outright- we trusted their judgement, and ended up with a fantastic animal that is perfect for our family!! The adoption fee is reasonable- you're getting a great deal, since the animal is already spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars at the vet. The adoption process was easy, and everyone was super-nice to us!! They always respond to phone calls and e-mails, too- and you can call them and ask them for advice, too, after the adoption! My family highly recommends this rescue organization.
