It is the mission of the DCSPCA to rescue and provide temporary humane shelter for the abandoned, neglected and abused companion animals of the Dutchess County community. Central to our mission is the securing of caring, responsible, permanent homes for the adoptable animals in our care.
We shall provide humane law enforcement throughout Dutchess County, and by example and through education, we shall promote and advance responsible, humane companion animal guardianship.

Very helpful staff. Difficult job being done with a smile. Building is a bit worn out, but was told they are in the process of fundraising for a new building- so please send money--I DID!!
Knowledgeable staff, eager to give advice and are very patient with questions.
Pros: Great staff, strong hearts,dedicated
Cons: Older building ( understand they are building new soon..)

i called for information for viggo and i got different answers but there was one person was very good and told me where to find the best vet.

I like the name of this service as it spells out what they are about - getting the animals clean! I love to see my furbabies so happy after a day of personal attention!
