Kind to my Son

Occasionally, my son donates his money from his piggy bank to the North Hempstead Animal Shelter. They are always very kind and make a big deal out of his donation. They also follow up with a lovely letter and certificate. It is a very positive experience for Jack...he feels as if he is doing good.

Like most local shelters, they have to take in all the unwanted. With limited resources, they do the best they can.

Pros: helping the local animals

This shelter is great. The staff members are great and love it there. They are also very knowledgable. I wish the place can be bigger so there is more room to help these poor animals.
