A model shelter operation

Steve Dash, the director of the Humane Society of Atlantic County, has created a model for shelters. He does such a good job that the shelter can take animals from other shelters & other states & find homes for them. He specializes in pit bulls [some of which come from under the boardwalk in Atlantic City], and he makes good placements for them. The shelter includes a low cost veterinary clinic.
Pros: Steve Dash, the director, created a model for shelters
Cons: located in one of the poorest counties in NJ
