Noah's Ark Animal Welfare Association

Noah's Ark is a private, limited-admission shelter that operates with adoption focused solutions. Our mission is to prevent cruelty to animals, provide care for homeless cats and dogs and educate the community in responsible animal care. Our efforts are guided by the dignity of animals and the importance of the human-animal bond. No animal is ever euthanized to make space for another animal.

Every year hundreds and hundreds of animals come through our doors. Thanks to an experienced staff and dedicated volunteers we are able to provide a nutritious diet, lots of exercise and TLC as well as a safe environment where families can meet their next best friend.

Noah’s Ark does not receive state or municipal funding. We rely solely on the generosity of local businesses, fundraising events and individuals to provide the necessary financial means to keep our programs running. This includes the Noah’s Ark Spay/Neuter Hotline that gives out coupons for discounted surgeries from participating veterinarians to responsible pet owners. The hotline has been taking calls for over 20 years and has distributed over 15,000 certificates.
