I Love This Place
posted 4 years ago
I volunteer at A Helping Paw. Its mission is unique and important - to heal the bodies and minds of unwanted animals so they can be adopted into loving homes, and to provide a safe and secure home for pets that cannot be adopted out. AHP also provides many pet-related services to the community, such as spay/neuter certificates and a pet food pantry.
Please stop by and take a look around! There are windows into the kitty rooms from the attached thrift shop. Pick up something cool and vintage, and your purchase will help the pets!
Pros: Every animal gets help, no matter its behavior, age, or ailments
Cons: The shelter doesn't have enough money to operate to its full potential.
